Euroguidance, Europass and NCP EQF Slovenia study visit in Austria

At the end of February representatives of Euroguidance, Europass and NCP EQF Slovenia participated in a joint two days study visit in Vienna with our colleagues from Euroguidance, Europass and NKS Austria.

We discussed the cooperation between the networks in and between the two countries. We were welcomed at the headquarters of OeAD, Austria’s Agency for Education and Internationalisation, where we were learning about OeAD services, guidance and VET systems in Austria and Slovenia as well as national qualifications systems in both countries. We looked for common points and highlighted the challenges we are facing.

Furthermore, we visited the training fair "Education until 18", which is organized every year and is intended to advise young people at risk on their further career and educational path, BIWI (Berufsinformationszentrum der Wiener Wirtschaft) career centre for young people and the Viennese Public Employment Service for Youth, where we learned about approaches taken for young people up to 25 as well as the recognition of qualifications acquired abroad.

We are always happy to exchange ideas with our colleagues from other EU countries. We have found that our cooperation is good and we are looking forward to future exchanges.
