“FormaTech”
The general objective of the "FormaTech" project is to provide (re)qualification programs in predominantly in-demand occupations, specialization programs to update technical skills relative to the introduction of new technologies and the acquisition of the principles of the "green" economy, together with the development of organizational skills in order to streamline operational management systems. Career counseling activity helps people make informed decisions about their careers and maximize their potential, counseling being an interface between the education and training system and the labor market, which it dynamically tries to synchronize.
Type
- Intervention: Counseling services for choosing a suitable professional training program, following the assessment of the skills, competencies and personal preferences of the target group for career development
- Framework: There is a methodology for carrying out professional counseling activity at project level
- Publication (i.e. published and printed material or available on line) - The materials are used within the activity, and they are published on the beneficiary's website at the end of the project.
- Tool - Holland Personality Self-Assessment Test, Motivational Persistence Assessment Questionnaire
Main focus
- Career education: The counseled individuals will become aware of and understand the need for professional development, will communicate effectively with others and will be able to develop plans regarding their own career
- Career Management Skills: Managers will be directed to programs to update their knowledge on Expectation Management and Results Achievement, Time Management, Setting Priorities, Leading Change, Information Transmission, Assertive Communication, Conflict Management, Building Trust and Motivation.
- Career Information The counselors will provide participants with relevant information regarding the labor market and the evolution of occupations
- Supporting transitions: Within the activity emphasis is placed on increasing the flexibility, adaptability and mobility of the workforce
- Finding and sustaining employment: The aim is to guide people towards an appropriate workplace, with positive effects on career development, job satisfaction and professional efficiency; reduce work conflicts; "correct" wrong decisions from the recent or more distant "history" of individuals regarding decisive moments for their careers.
In this project, the target group that will benefit from services is made up of employed people who have a minimum education level of ISCED 3 (high school/vocational studies)
The project manager plans the activities, verifies their implementation, and evaluates the quality of services based on the monthly reports of the experts involved, taking measures to improve the quality of the implemented services if necessary.
