Annual Conference of the EBSN - "From Evidence to Action: Advancing Adult Basic Skills for Tackling Inequalities"

The European Basic Skills Network (EBSN) invites policymakers, researchers, educators, and adult learning professionals to its Annual Conference 2025, taking place in Brussels from June 18 to 20, 2025. This year’s conference will explore how OECD PIAAC survey results can drive policy action and innovative practices to tackle inequalities through adult basic skills development.

This conference will serve as a key platform to bridge research, policy, and practice in adult learning, with a particular focus on embedding basic skills in broader social, economic, and digital policy frameworks. Through expert keynotes, interactive sessions, and panel discussions, participants will engage with the latest insights on:

  • The role of adult basic skills in reducing inequalities
