Austrian Euroguidance Conference 2026 "Inclusive Guidance and Union of Skills: New Perspectives for Career Guidance"

The field of guidance is facing far-reaching challenges: the labour market is changing rapidly, and traditional approaches to guidance are often no longer sufficient. At the same time, uncertainty, psychological strain and decision-making pressure are on the rise.

Against this backdrop, the role of career guidance is coming even more into focus: the emphasis is on providing orientation, fostering self-efficacy and motivation for those seeking advice. This is making inclusive guidance increasingly important – guidance that opens up access to education, skills development and employment for all people, regardless of their individual circumstances, life situations or educational backgrounds.

Within the context of the European Union of Skills, guidance plays a key role. It supports people in recognising their potential, developing their skills and shaping their educational and career paths with self-determination. Meanwhile, the question arises regarding the skills guidance professionals need to effectively support people in all their diversity, break down barriers and promote participation. What future-oriented skills are required to support inclusive educational and career pathways, provide guidance and help people navigate a dynamic labour market and discover new opportunities?

Join us – and play an active part in shaping the future of guidance!

Please note: this conference is held in German, with one Key Note and one Workshop in English.
