44 participants could choose from a selection of 9 workshops divided into 3 sections according to 3 topics: a counseling approach focused on innovative trends in career counseling, innovative activities within career education at schools, and the development of career competencies of students with special educational needs.
The individual workshops were linked by the theme of career skills development and were led by experts from schools, counseling and prevention centers, and other organizations that share the focus on youth development. The block of workshops was followed by a panel discussion focused on the topic of developing career education and career guidance in regular school conditions, with the aim of identifying working principles and positive examples that schools can build on when developing a career education and guidance system.
The participants could influence the form of the panel discussion with their own suggestions and questions, which they formulated as part of the online application and which were available to the people speaking on the panel in advance. We are making the observations made during the panel discussion available as an outcome for the community.
