Euroguidance Centres in the Nordic and Baltic Countries Meet in Reykjavík

Representatives of the Euroguidance Centres from the Nordic and Baltic countries gathered in Reykjavík on 15-16 September. The meeting was held at the premises of Rannís (The Icelandic Centre for Research), where discussions focused on cooperation between the centres, the evaluation of the Euroguidance network's activities, and priorities for the next project period.
The group also visited the Student Counselling and Career Centre at the University of Iceland, where they were introduced to services for students with disabilities, psychological counselling services, and educational and vocational guidance. The visit provided participants with an opportunity to learn about how various student support services are organized within the University of Iceland and to compare experiences from their own countries.
Jóhanna María Vignir, representing the Icelandic Association of Educational and Vocational Counsellors, gave a presentation on the association's activities and discussed educational and vocational guidance in Iceland.
The presentation provided participants with valuable insight into the professional environment of educational and vocational counsellors in Iceland and fostered discussions on shared challenges and opportunities for collaboration.
The meeting served as an excellent platform for exchanging experiences and strengthening ties between the Euroguidance Centres across the Nordic and Baltic regions.
