The Norwegian Directorate for Higher Education and Skills (HK-dir) is the national coordinator for Euroguidance in Norway, and responsible for the national coordination and development of the career guidance field in the country. The directorate’s aim is to increase access to career guidance services, enhance quality and contribute to an equal offer of services to young people and adults in all stages of life. HK-dir also develops and manages the national digital career counselling service and the national quality framework for career guidance.

Karriere Buskerud acts as hosting partner for the annual Academia training event for career guidance professionals, in close co-operation with HK-dir. In addition to providing career guidance services for adults, Karriere Buskerud aims to ensure a coherent lifelong guidance system through linking employment and education, as well as providing training and networking opportunities for guidance professionals in schools.
