High-Stakes counselling: when career counselling may lead to continuing residence or deportation of asylum-seeking youths
In this research article the authors Jonna Linde, Joakim Lindgren & Åsa Sundelin analyze what happens to career counselling when it is intertwined with the asylum process. The analysis draws from the Swedish example of an amendment to the education legislation, regarding residence permits for upper secondary level students.
The article was published online in the British Journal of Sociology of Education in June 2021, downloadable as PDF.
