          The purpose of Lifelong Guidance should be

          defined together




          Raimo Vuorinen retires in September 2022. His research has focused on the evidence base for lifelong
          guidance systems and on policy development. He has been the chair of ICCDPP, a Board member and
          Vice-President of IAEVG and the Coordinator of the European Lifelong Guidance Policy Network. Raimo
          has been involved in Finnish Euroguidance work as an external expert since the creation of the network.

                                                              There are  many actors  in the European guidance
                                                              sector. How do you see the role of Euroguidance?


                                                              Euroguidance and CareersNet work partly in the same
                                                              field with complementary roles. CareersNet provides
                                                              structured and validated  information on national  guid-
                                                              ance  systems and  policies,  and  Euroguidance  has a
                                                              strong role in supporting  the guidance  professionals.
