Statistics for the education system are collect-
ed by the Ministry of Education Youth and
Sports� The guidance and counselling services
at schools and school facilities up to the tertiary
professional level are evaluated by the Czech
School Inspectorate (Česká školní inspekce)�
Both the Labour Office and educational institu-
tions have their own methods of monitoring/
evaluation�
Some NGOs have either developed their own
system of monitoring/evaluation or have
transferred proven methods from abroad (e�g�
SROI – Soci al Return on Investment, SRS – Social
Reporting Standard, MSC – Most Signifi cant
Change)� Since 2007, a number of new projects
focusing on the development of career coun-
selling services for different target groups have
emerged� These projects are run by a variety
of actors, e�g� schools, universities, the Labour
Office, non-profit organisations, employers,
trade unions and the private sector� Many new
